Hawks Community: 

Last week, there was a lot to celebrate at St. Gregory the Great!

  • Father Khalid came to support our students in preparing them for the sacrament of First Reconciliation. The sacrament for these students will take place this Wed. March 6th at 6:30pm at the church. We will pray for all of our Hawks participating in this sacrament. Thank you Father!
  • Congratulations to our Girl’s Volleyball and Boy’s Basketball teams who played with heart and spirit!
  • On Thursday, we welcomed Matt Betts from the Cambridge Times, Constable Quarrie from Waterloo Regional Police Services, and Mr. Davis from the Waterloo Catholic School Board to join us in celebrating Pink Shirt Day! Here is a link to the news article for our school: ONLINE ARTICLE HERE
  • On Friday, we had a visit from our Director of Education, Mr. Dowling to our school. He was impressed with our kind and welcoming students.
  • We welcomed the month of March, the snow and chill, and then the sun!

This Friday is the start of March Break! 

The school will be closed this Friday, March 8th and ALL of next week as it is March Break. We welcome our Hawks back on Monday, March 18th.

During this time, we wish your families a safe, restful, healthy week to rejuvenate and spend time with loved ones.

Sports Team updates: 

We would like to thank our amazing student-athletes on the Girl’s Volleyball and Boy’s Basketball team who played in the small schools tournament last week! Both teams played with spirit, determination, and Hawk pride!

Thank you again to Mrs. Holland and Ms. Tanedo for coaching and offering practices on their own time!
